Our 2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Creatives

The holiday season has arrived and so has our 2017 Gift Guide for Creatives!  The consultants at AXS have taken the time to compile a list of unique and thoughtful gift ideas perfect for anyone on your creative Secret Santa list. Allow us to be your buyers guide and indulge in these special treats. We think you’ll love them just as much as we do.

  1. The holidays are notorious for jam-packed days of working late, last minute shopping trips, decorating and LOTS OF CAFFEINE. We found a stellar company, We The People Coffee & Tea who are going above and beyond. Not only can you send packaged coffee or tea to the person/people of your choosing but, they will donate 10% of your purchase to a local charity. Coffee and tea have always brought people together, why not allow it to bring us together for a greater good.
  2. A thoughtful gift that would work for past, present or future clients is donating to a cause that is relative to your genre of work, in someone’s name. Some examples could be sending money to conserving our national parks if you are an adventure photographer, or a travel photographer who just did a story in a third world country could donate to a clean water organization. Make the donation relatable to your work and you can still introduce your imagery into the concept with an email or a handwritten card. None of these hitting home? Here’s a great list of top charities to donate to around the holidays, or any time!
  3. It’s always a win if you can make a gift out of something that will stay on a creative’s desk or better yet, in their home! Add your branding or an empowering quote to these custom candles.
  4. Did someone say chocolate?! Ghyslain’s signature hand-painted, gourmet chocolates bring chocolate artistry to a whole new level. Send a dozen of these beautifully crafted masterpieces to anyone on your creative wish list to make their holiday extra sweet.
  5. For more general holiday cheer – shoot something for the season and send it out as a printed card with a handwritten note inside. This is a great way to express yourself and get your personal work in front of creatives. Whether humorous, serious or just beautiful – taking the time to create something specifically for the season of well-wishing is as thoughtful and personal as it gets. Need a place to print? We would love to help!

As always, it’s important to remember that some companies do not promote or allow gift receiving. This is something you should be aware of before sending anything to anyone. You don’t want to go through all the hassle of sending hand-painted chocolates just to get them returned to you.
